I am now officially a triathlete!
Very nervous having to start so early at 8.30am! This sprint tri consisted on 400m swim, 20k cycle and 5k run. Not fast but a respectable time of 1:45:29 overall.
So many things to remember and so much kit, but I really enjoyed it. Lots of familiar faces marshalling and found a several people who, like me, were taking part in their first one! Really friendly atmosphere. Steve came with me too as support and to record the event.
The most difficult part was the run at the end after I finished the cycle!
Looking forward to the next sprint tri at Berkeley in July and then I might look for an 'Olympic' distance which is double the sprint one.
